Frontside stalwarts the Elan Ripstick 88 Skis get some updates, starting with more sizes (the break is now 7cm rather than 8cm), a revised sidecut meant to enhance stability at speed, and extra Unidirectional Carbon and Flax Fiber in the layup. The new skis are indeed calmer and more composed at speed, but without sacrificing Elan's trademark effortless turn initiation. If you're seeking a frontside carving machine that doesn't exhaust your legs before noon, the new Ripstick 88 might just be the ticket.
