Founded in 1945 by brothers Jack and Bud Potter, Potter Bros began as a small sporting goods store in uptown Kingston, New York. In the 1960s, second-generation cousins John and Dan Potter joined the business, followed by third-generation cousins Jake and Kyle Potter in the 1980s and 1990s, continuing a tradition of family ownership and innovation.
In 1995, Potter Bros expanded into premium outdoor furniture, transforming the company into a true year-round destination. Today, we’re proud to operate four locations: Kingston and Fishkill, New York, Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Massachusetts, and Bromley Mountain in Vermont.
For over 80 years, our family has remained committed to exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge, and offering the best brands in skiing, snowboarding, and outdoor living.
