The buying team from Potter Brothers spent 4 days in Denver at the end of January for the ski and snowboard industry’s largest trade show event. Our staff of buyers took to the convention center to see all of the exciting new gear for 2015/16. From skis and snowboards, goggles and helmets, gloves and socks and everything in-between. We examined hundreds of new products to help prepare our buy for next season. This show is always so much fun as it’s filled with exciting new products and technologies that help progress our favorite sports.
However, no trip in the ski business is complete without a day on the mountain, and that’s exactly how we kicked things off prior to the show. Our day at Copper Mountain was incredible with spring-like conditions, soft snow, blue skies and plenty of sunshine. A good way to recharge in the middle of a busy winter.
