The 2015/16 local ski season came to it’s inevitable and unfortunate end on Sunday March 27th as Hunter Mountain was the last local ski resort to officially shut down their lifts.
It wasn’t without tremendous efforts though, as local ski areas put their snowmaking prowess to the ultimate test this season, utilizing every small window of opportunity to make snow and build a respectable base. With mother nature delivering less than a foot of natural fell in most parts of the northeast, it was certainly a challenging season.
We’ve been fortunate enough to have extended seasons over the past few years, often pushing past our rental return date in early April. However, this year, unless you are planning a trip up to Killington or Jay Peak, or maybe even a trip out west (which I highly recommend), this year’s Rental Return date is Saturday April 2nd. Our shops in Kingston, Poughkeepsie and Fishkill will be open 10am-5pm on Saturday April 2nd or you can check our stores and hours here.
We respectfully ask that you return your rentals to the Potter Brothers location in which they were rented. If you can’t, no worries. Just note that our Poughkeepsie shop will be closing for the spring/summer on Sunday April 3rd. Any rentals from this location can be returned to our Fishkill shop after this date.
