Hands-down, one of our favorite skis for 2015 is the new Rossignol Experience 88. Our staff loves the versatility and all-mountain performance it offers in all snow conditions. The Experience 88 is also one of the few “wide” skis to maintain a shorter than average turn radius on groomers, while still maintaining exceptional soft snow performance.
One of the keys to Rossignol’s success, is it’s new weight-shaving Air Tip technology. Air tip works by reducing the swing weight of the ski (at the tip and tail) and redistributing the weight under the skier’s feet. The result is greater ease of turning, increased security and versatility.
In addition, Rossignol’s sandwich laminate construction combined with it’s wood core and lightweight basalt interior, give the ski the extra quickness and stability to rip turns at any speed, on any terrain.
The Rossignol Experience 88 has one several test awards for 2015 including Ski Magazine Gold Medal Gear, Skiing’s Tester’s Choice and On the Snow’s Editors’ Choice.
