Seasonal Rental Season is back at PB and we're excited to see you all again. This is typically a busy time of year at the shop, so we've come up with 5 important tips to help make the seasonal rental process run as smoothly (and accurately) as possible.
# 1: ALLOW SOME TIME
Especially for larger groups + families, it's a good idea to allow some time in your day to get your rentals. Although we work as efficiently as possible, getting everyone's boots, bindings, skis or snowboard dialed-in perfectly is our top priority.
Note: During the busiest of times, we will work off a waiting list to help keep everything running smoothly.
# 2: KNOW YOUR WEIGHT (and your kids' weight).
Weight is an important factor in how we set your ski bindings, so you'll never want to guess. Having the most accurate weight will help ensure that all bindings are set correctly for each individual skier. Sorry, no scale at the shop.
Note: We understand that weights fluctuate from time to time, so if your weight changes before or during the season, it may be a good idea to have your bindings checked for a potential re-adjustment.
# 3: BRING YOUR SKI SOCKS
If you visit us in your summer flip-flops, sandals or crocks - all good. Just try to remember to bring your ski socks so you’ll know exactly how the boots will fit your feet on the mountain.
Note: we no longer offer “try-on” socks, but we always offer discounted ski socks for purchase during our Summer Sale
# 4: LEAVE ROOM IN THE CAR
Yes, you are leaving with all of your rental gear, so we highly encourage you to leave enough room in your car for skis, boots, snowboards, poles, etc.
Note: We will gladly help you pack your car, if needed.
# 5: ENJOY THE PROCESS
Getting geared up for the season is supposed to be FUN! Pick out your skis or snowboard, dial-in your boots, talk about your past experiences and think about what else you might need to complete your kit.
