Full Tune-up

Full Tune-up (Skis or Snowboard) A ski/board tune-up prior to the season is a great idea to enhance the performance of your equipment. A full tune at Potter Brothers entails stone grinding, side surface grinding, sharpening edges, and hot wax. Every ski/board has different tuning needs. If your edges or base have been severely damaged, it could costs more. Bring it in and we will take a look and give an estimate. If they are beyond regular tuning, we will let you know

Function Test

Function Test Having your bindings release/retention settings checked once a season is highly recommended, especially if a skiers statistics of changed. This could mean weight, height, age or skiing ability. Potter Brothers will re-check all DIN settings. The word DIN is used in reference to the release settings on your ski bindings. These settings are typically determined by your height, weight, boot sole length, age and skier type. When you purchase new skis and bindings, the DIN setting is adjusted by the shop technician.

Note: A Function Test requires both ski boots, and a prior marriage between the same ski and boot combination.

Base Repair:
All base repair requires examination and price estimation. All tunes come with very light base repair. Most base repair requires grinding of the entire base. If you have a deep enough slash it will expose the core which can get wet and swell and delaminate the base. Do not delay repairing this type of damage.

Boot Repair: All boot repairs are priced on an individual basis. Potter Brothers has a large supply of boot parts, or if needed, will order the needed parts to get you back up and running.

Snowboard Binding Repair: Potter Brothers stocks several snowboard binding parts to get your set up back on the hill in no time.
